in a world of deception
something always in the way
a fog around our hearts
we are blinded from the Truth
open my eyes
i am ready for a purpose
no more pointless days
my stubborness holding me back
my fear keeping me from a call
at times its hard
giving up what never really mattered in the first place
but i live for something greater then myself
loved by the nails He bore
i turn my face up
no more will i see what deceives me
but i focus on what God says about me
i care only for His thoughts towards me
a future
a hope
finally a life that matters
living everyday for a purpose never failing
i see the world still
but now i see with eyes cleared
cleansed from the fog
pure in heart
i see the world the way He does
bowed in His presence
i live for something greater
